The Upper School of Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut announced its 2013 inductees into the prestigious National Honor Society.

More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to award those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. It is the nation's premier organization established in 1921 to recognize outstanding high school students.

About Cheshire Academy

Founded in 1794, Cheshire Academy is one of the oldest, independent, college preparatory schools in the country and is still located in its original site in Cheshire, CT. Led by Head of School Dr. Jerry Larson, the Academy currently enrolls day and boarding students from grade 8 through a postgraduate high school year. For the 20012-13 academic year, Cheshire Academy hosts 360 students representing 15 countries, 14 states, and 54 towns in Connecticut.
